Turf Cell® / Gravel Cell®

Atlantis Turf Cell® is the ideal product for strengthening turf in high-traffic areas. Designed to support and protect the turf, Turf Cell® allows roots to grow both horizontally and vertically.

The robust design meets most traffic requirements and, with a load capacity of 4000 t/m2, ensures longevity in the areas where it is used. Unlike concrete pavements that absorb heat and burn plant roots, Turf Cell® structurally maintains surface temperatures at a certain level, promoting root growth. Aesthetically, the product's gaps can be completely filled with grass, allowing you to create a lush green lawn with an invisible reinforcement structure.

Atlantis Gravel Cell® is a high-strength geocellular structure suitable for numerous applications including ground reinforcement, drainage, infiltration, and water storage. When used as a reinforcement structure, Gravel Cell® creates a durable, rigid surface suitable for heavily loaded traffic areas such as access roads. The cells are also effectively used in the construction of underground tanks, trench drainage, and infiltration ditches where they are expected to be subjected to extreme loads.

Turf Cell®

Lower flood risk: The system will purify the water at the source, allowing rainwater to be collected as quickly as possible and minimizing runoff across the land, thereby allowing water to seep into the groundwater and minimizing flood damage.

Robust structural design: This product is designed for use in complex water infiltration applications.

Rainwater recycling: By treating rainwater at its source and removing pollutants and sediments, the collected water can be reused for irrigating neighboring areas or for other needs.

Between 70% and 90% of urban areas are covered with waterproof materials; asphalt, concrete, bituminous products, tiles, etc. These materials retain heat by producing an increase in ambient temperature and do not allow water to seep through.

Urban runoff is synonymous with pollution. On rainy days, waterproof coatings prevent water from seeping in/retaining and increase runoff levels, dissolving all urban pollution and dragging it into collectors, significantly increasing pollution in the runoff and water. This unfortunately results in a serious environmental impact.

The most eco-efficient way to reduce rainwater runoff and contamination is to reduce soil impermeability. This allows the soil to act as a filter, trapping and filtration system.

The infiltration design concept in Atlantis Eco-efficient Roads is to treat rainwater at its source. This ensures that rainwater is collected as quickly as possible and that minimal runoff occurs on the land.
